 HOLLY HILL, SC -
Authorities are looking for two cars after a four-month-old baby girl was found Tuesday afternoon on Highway 311, just off Highway 176. The child is now safe at home with her family.

Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office said received a call that the child had been kidnapped from a home on Catamount Road in Holly Hill around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers with the Holly Hill Police Department were among the first to respond. They tell News 2 it appears four men came in the home and kidnapped the baby.

"The father was outside, saying they had his four-month-old baby, and were going to call back, asking for ransom," said Assistant Chief Police, Joshua Detter with the Holly Hill Police Department.

According to authorities, the father was emotional as police asked what happened.

"He was distraught, very distraught. He was worried about his child. He was crying, and just wanted his child," said Detter.

The 4-month-old baby was found about two hours after she was reported missing along a road in Berkeley County

Right now, there is no information about the descriptions of the suspects. Police are searching for a Red Chevrolet Impala with two passengers and a Green Ford Explorer related to this case. Police say these suspects could possibly be armed and dangerous.

Authorities say if you see anything or have information related to this case call 911 or the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office.
