A 17-year old surrendered to Charleston Police on Tuesday charged with unlawful communication and computer crime 3rd degree.
Jason Thomas Fennell appeared before a bond judge Tuesday afternoon and was given a $15-hundered bond. Charleston Police worked with State Police in Delaware in the investigation. It is alleged Fennell posted online messages regarding a New Castle, Delaware High School.
Police say the postings stated "Don't come to school Monday" the posting also had an attached picture from Columbine High School. Investigators also say another posting read "Why build something you're already prepared for, Concord School Massacre 2013."
Police in Delaware were notified by a student at Concord High about the posting found on EDMODO.com. It was determined the messages were posted from a computer within the City of Charleston.
