From our News Partners at WCBD-TV:

Thursday the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office released a sketch of a suspect wanted in the attempted kidnapping of a teen in Summerville.

On July 10 the victim told police she was walking on Rosario Drive and talking on her phone in the Plum Creek subdivision around 1 a.m. when a small dark truck pulled next to her.  The teen said that a man got out of the truck and grabbed her.  The victim fought off the suspect but during the scuffle was hit in the face by an elbow from her assailant.  The victim ran home.

According to police the victim described the suspect as a white man, possibly in his 30's, 6 feet tall with short dark hair.

Neighbors in Plum Creek say the incident has them being extra cautious. Beth Antonelli lives down the street from where the kidnapping occurred, "we take care of each others kids. We walk home, get them home so that they're never by themselves, not even two little ones by themselves."

Police continue to investigate the crime.  If you have any information, call investigators at
