The U.S. Geological Survey has upgraded the earthquake felt in the Summerville area to 3.0 magnitude.
The USGS originally classified the earthquake that hit at 6:38 p.m. Wednesday as a 2.5 magnitude quake.
USGS is showing the official epicenter is in Centerville, S.C., but according to College of Charleston geology professor Steve Jaume, that could change as more reports come in.
So far, there are no reports of injuries or sizeable damage.
